Born and raised in Miami and of Cuban descent, Joey’s hardworking and entrepreneurial spirit started at a young age. As a child, he made baskets by hand and went door-to-door selling them — an early sign that he wasn’t afraid to work hard, create something himself, and earn his own way. Those Miami roots and that same drive have stayed with him throughout his life. What began with a kid knocking on doors with something he made himself eventually grew into a lifetime of working with his hands and serving the South Florida community he calls home.
